Student Not Candidate for Degree
Students may apply for admission and be registered as a Student Not Candidate for Degree (SNCD). This status is particularly intended for those in industry wishing to take one or more courses for continued professional development but who are not seeking a graduate degree. This status is also used for applicants showing promise but not fully satisfying admission requirements. Only 9 units taken while the student is SNCD can be counted toward any MS in the School of Engineering.
