    Program for students majoring in science, mathematics and engineering. Note that applications for participation in the SURF program are only accepted from colleges or universities, and not from individual students.

  • SUMMER UNDERGRADUATE FUNDING(NSFSTC)  
    The NSF Science & Technology Centers (STCs) Undergraduate Research Experience is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on research experience in a cutting edge field. There are 17 STCs, located at prestigious universities around the United States. Each center has a specific research focus, but as a whole, our programs focus on such fields as the biological sciences, computer and information sciences, engineering, geosciences, and mathematical and physical sciences.

  • NASA AERONAUTICS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM 
    The NASA Aeronautics Scholarship Program is expected to annually award approximately 20 two-year undergraduate students (up to $40,000) pursuing aeronautical engineering and related fields. Completed applications will be collected electronically from February 22nd through March 17th, 2008.

  • FAA SUMMER PROGRAM
    Selected undegraduate students have the opportunity to intern during summer 2008 with the FAA in Kansas City (MO) and various location around the US. applicants must be US citizens and able to receive a favorable background investigation. Students must receive approval from their campus liaison to participate in this program (the campus liaison is Jennie Lowery Marchal, marchal@wustl.edu) . The FAA application deadline is February 20, 2008. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. To apply go to Apply on line
